Our Microbiology and Serology labs provide services for the diagnosis of infectious diseases of a bacterial ,viral, parasitic, fungial or tubercular nature. Microbiology lab has fully automated, (Vitek compact 2) for the bacterial identification and susceptibility testing and (Bact-Alert 3 d) to detect bacteria and fungi in blood cultures, sterile body fluids etc. Automated systems aid in the rapid detection of infectious agents in blood and body fluids. Microbiology labs are essential for surveillance and monitoring of hospital acquired infections. Serological investigations are help to detect antibodies or antigens in patient samples, which can indicate past or present infections with various pathogens like HIV and Hepatitis viruses .Our services includes all types of culture and sensitivity ,TB ,MRSA screening, Koh mount and Staining procedures. We are also participating in Revised National TB Control Program.(RNTCP).
