Dr. Blessin S. Cherian is an Orthopaedic surgeon with more than 10 years of experience. After completing his MS Orthopaedics from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal he joined Government Medical College, Alleppey as a Senior Resident. Following this he was selected for an MGR University accredited Fellowship in Arthroscopy at the prestigious Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore by securing the first rank among all applicants from India. He is the first surgeon from Kerala to have been selected for the prestigious IASES (Indian American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons) Fellowship under the world-renowned Dr. Paul Sethi at Connecticut, USA. He is one of the few surgeons in India to perform the Fast Track Knee Replacement Surgery ensuring faster recovery and return to normal life after Total Knee Replacement Surgery. He is the first surgeon in the world to have performed a Bilateral Total Hip Replacement in a patient with Protein C and S deficiency. He has presented several papers at International and National conferences and is a regular faculty and trainer at various State and National level conferences for Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy.
